Just a few more cookies ;)

My lovely assistant and I were in the baking mood just before Easter when we made these. These were the ones she made for a few of her friends...I think they turned out great! With some of the extra poker cookies and then the frosting that was left over from our Easter cookies (i will share soon)I made some CUTE flowers free hand. I love how these turned out!
Wilton has a set of wedding cookie cutters that I bought and played with. I love the birthday cakes.
FUN....purple polka dots on teal! Whoo hoo can you say TRENDY!
This is an exact copy of my senior prom dress ;)

The technique for the frosting is called flooding the cookies. It is fun to see what the final outcome is, but it is a time sucking project (well for me at least).

I had to end on the flowers! They are SOOO fun!

OK...so they aren't cupcakes

This crazy photo WILL NOT cooperate and turn the correct way! I made these cookies for a poker night that we held with the community. A dear friend of my oldest daughter was struck by a car. We wanted to help the family out so we had a poker tournament.

We were able to raise a lot of money for them to help off set the fee's a little.

Rainbow Cupcakes

We decided to make some cupcakes for St.Patrick's day. So of course we had to make rainbow's with white puffy clouds! The cupcakes turned out really cute, but wow did these take FOREVER to make. We had to make each color and spoon in each color to make them layered.

Sunflowers

Once I saw these in my Hello Cupcake book I knew I needed to make these! They are so fun! I was nervous to use the 2 different colors of frosting in the same bag, but once I made these I knew I was in LOVE!
The Oreo's were so good! I know, we all love oreo's, but with added frosting on them! WOW! I gave the extra's to neighbors and they STILL talk about these ones!
I made these for o reason, but to try. I would love to make these again. How cute are the bugs? LOVE THEM!

~life is like a box of chocolates~

So true Forest! Well, who doesn't LOVE love? I am sure there are a few, but I am willing to bet they LOVE chocolate! These is also from the book Hello Cupcake. These are mini cupcakes decorated with candies! Then they are put into the heart box lid with some of the chocolates on top to appear like it is the actual box of chocolates. So cleaver!
They were a HUGE hit with the ladies group! So fun.

Hubby's take notes please! Women LOVE CHOCOLATE! Since we are on the topic of teaching ;) we really do want a gift (big or small) even if we said we don't. Sorry, we are just created as givers, but we do enjoy recieving as well!

It is funny to eat something that is STARING at you!

Dino Cupcakes

A dino obsessed 3 year old girl and a momma who is trying to save the world one cupcake at a time...this is what you get! These cupcakes are all made with the box mix and premade frosting, but I do still find those yummy!
The cupcakes were a hit with everyone.

How did all this happen?

The great cupcake adventure all started at a 4 year old girls party when her mom said she paid $3.50 each for the cupcakes! I almost fell off my chair. While yes they were cute they were not for a wedding! I told her I could make cute cupcakes too...this is how it all got started.
