I took the cookies that I made and bagged them up with fun colored ribbon for the treat boxes. These are sugar cookies that I added food coloring to for the pumpkin colors. I rolled them into a ball, smashed them, then added a stem! So fun my kiddos loved these. These were the sugar cookies that I was up all night making. I can't seem to get to bed before 2am when I make these types of cookies! I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong with the flooding and not being efficient with the frosting, or if I just enjoy having a project to do after everyone is in bed that I draw it out.
Regardless of my time-spent I LOVE the finished products! I love even more when we share them with others and they see the finished product that they are going to get to enjoy!
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween with their families!
On to Thanksgiving...........
I have had many requests to post my photo's of the goodies I have created. Feel free to view and drool over them, but please respect that they are my photo's and ask me before you share them from my page. Now let's go get our sugar rush!

Halloween Cookies (part 1)
I love making these sugar cookies! I am always surprised at how long they take, but I really enjoy making them! I don't enjoy spooky Halloween so the ghosts had to be handsome & fun.
This little pumpkin reminded me of the yellow smiley face from back in the day. I would have to say that this was my favorite cookie!
I'm working hard to find the perfect way to flood the cookies (fill in with the frosting) it seems to be taking me to long to spread the color out.
We found these cute little boxes to share our goodies with our neighbors, teachers, & bus drivers! We appreciate all that they do, and honestly who doesn't love sugar cookies?!?
The next post will show the finished goodies in the boxes....

I love to craft in real life.....
Often times I am greatful I have 3 daughters...I would have have NO CLUE how to craft for boys. A tall tower with modge-podge art blocks, maybe whittle wooden trains, or sew a tent to camp in the playroom.
Nope...for now at least I will stick to girly stuff! My middle princess was invited to a kindergarten birthday party.
SWEET...all little girls love tutu's *at least i think they should*. She helped me choose the colors and I got to work.
I decorated a matching hanger to hold her skirt and a hairbow (top right). So cute right!!! I'm pretty sure she loved it, but it's hard to tell when all you see from lil kiddo's at their parties is papers fly...and the backs of all the friends that are WAY TO EXCITED TO SIT!
